TY Mock Presidential Election

Our Transition Year students conducted a mock presidential election on Wednesday 26th October ahead of the real presidential election on Thursday 27th. The aim of this exercise is to demonstrate how the Proportional Representational system operates. In our election Sean Gallagher was elected on the third count.

TY Music recital

Last week our Transition year students were treated to a recital from a musical trio that included a double bass, flute, and guitar. A very pleasant hour was spent listening to the talented trio. This event was sponsored by Art Scope and part funded by the Arts Education Officer of Kilkenny V.E.C.
