Our Equestrian team had a great win last weekend in Ballinamona Equistrian Centre, Waterford. Alan Persse, Jack Power, Rory Doyle and Darragh Doyle won the team Novice Class competition. Rory Doyle won the Individual Novice competition. Well done lads and good luck in your next competition.

Some of the Transition Year students took part in the Concern Fast and Silence. Tony Leddy from Concern visited the school and gave a talk on the work of   the organisation . Well done to all students who took part in raising money for this worthy cause.

Congratulations to Patrick Butler, Transition Year who had a big win last weekend in his fight against Conor Broderick in the Ikf Amateur Fcr Flyweight tournament in Sarsfield GAA centre, Thurles. Patrick defeated Conor by unanimous decision 27-29, 26-30, 26-29.

Scoil Aireagail presents ‘An evening of Music and Song’ in the Carmelite Friary, Knocktopher on Wednesday 12th December @ 8pm. Proceeds on the night go towards the St. Vincent de Paul. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Admission on the door Adults €5 and children €2.

Congratulations to Tara Wilson, 2nd Year who danced in the Leinster Championship Irish Dancing competition recently. Tara’s dance group came 2nd in the figures-group dance, and Tara herself came 10th in her solo dance.
