The students and staff of Scoil Aireagial were very pleased to welcome Adam Harris of ASIAM.ie who visited our school on 3rd March to deliver a workshop to students to promote autism awareness in the school. Adam has appeared on “The Saturday Night Show” and travels around the country giving talks in schools and other venues highlighting the difficulties people on the Autistic Spectrum can encounter in their daily lives. Students and staff found the talk very insightful and informative and we will continue to promote greater understanding of autism in our school environment.
