Hard luck to our senior hurling panel and managers Mr. Walsh and Mr. O’Hanlon following their draw with Abbey Community College, Ferrybank. Following their opening defeat to Borris, our lads needed to win to progress to the next round. Despite leading by 1-6 to 0-8 at halftime, the team couldn’t hold out for victory. Conor Walsh led an all-round qulaity team performance, so well done to all involved for coming so close.
