Choosing a post-primary school is an important decision. We believe that choosing Scoil Aireagail will be a decision you will not regret. This is a school that is built on high expectations and support to achieve those expectations. Here every person is treated as a valued member of our happy, vibrant learning community.
The mission of Scoil Aireagail is to engage students in their education in a way that enables each person to reach their full potential and enter society as a responsible adult. The level of care and support for students in Scoil Aireagail is evident both inside and outside the classroom and in the relationship between all partners in education including parents, students and teachers. This is also seen in the provision of the Cairdeas Mentoring Program which provides the first year students with guided support and continuous mentoring by trained sixth year students.
Through the provision of a comprehensive curriculum, we provide a holistic education in which each student is valued, and their individual needs are recognised and catered for. We successfully implement our Academic Monitoring programme, a system which ensures each student is given valuable one-to-one feedback on her academic performance in order to help them to improve and reach their potential.
In nurturing a passion for excellence, the educational experiences offered to students go far beyond the confines of the classroom. In partnership with parents, the board of management and school staff, we work to develop well-educated, confident, balanced young people who are outward-looking and able to meet the challenges of life with common sense, integrity and resilience. We look forward to welcoming you to our open night on Thursday 20th October from 7-9pm where you will get to experience the richness that our school has to offer in action.
