Scoil Aireagail remains committed to providing appropriate support to students where English is not their first language.
The following interventions are used to support such students:
• Appropriate and effective use of EAL-specific hours
• Use of translating software in the classroom
• Translating of assessments to first language
• Integration in as far as possible and practical with other learning groups
• Allowances, where appropriate, to use device to translate text
