First year students study the following core subjects in their first year and throughout the Junior Cycle programme; English, Irish, Mathematics, History, Science, Religious Education, CSPE, SPHE, PE & Learning to Learn. Students express their preference for four further subjects from the following optional subjects before starting in 1st year; Art, Business Studies, Engineering, French, Geography, Graphics, Home Economics, Music, Wood Technology.
