On Monday 26th of September Scoil Aireagail Ballyhale played Borris Vocational school.

Ronan Corcoran opened the score by getting the first point from a free. Later on he hand passed the ball to Conor Frisby who hit it in the back of the net. We were down by two points in the first half.
Borris pushed on strong in the second half and scored two goals and 3 points in a short period of time.
10 minutes to go in the second half and Ballyhale were behind by 8 points. A great run from Paul Kirwan earned a free from the 21 yard line. Ronan Corcoran stepped up to the free and drove it into the back of the net to leave it 5 points between the teams. More points were scored from Ray Cody and Ronan Corcoran. The game finished up with a win for Borris with a score line of 3-14 to 3-8. The Ballyhale team were disappointed with the results and look to do better in there next fixture against Grennan, Thomastown.
