Higher Options

Many of our 6th year students travelled to the Higher Options Conference in the R.D.S. in Dublin on Thursday 15th September. This conference provides a great opportunity to become informed about future studies and career plans. A worthwhile experience was had by all. Player of the Tournament!

Congratulations to Eimear FitzPatrick who was awarded player of the tournament in a 2nd year Gaelic Football blitz, held in Thomastown recently. Despite losing the final to Castlecomer, the Ballyhale girls enjoyed their day of competition, culminating in Eimear’s individual success. Well done Eimear!

Camoige Heartbreak!

Commiserations to Julieann Malone and Michaela Kenneally, both of whom were members of the Kilkenny U16 camoige panel that lost to Cork in the All-Ireland final recently. Despite the defeat, both girls played an important part in the team’s progress all year and should be very proud of their achievements. Well done Julieann and Michaela!

Transition Years in action!

Our transition year students recently enjoyed a fun-filled outing to Brandon Hill, near Graiguenamanagh, where they tackled the challenge of climbling the hill with great gusto. They also had a great time crab fishing and at lazer. Well done to all concerned, and to Mr. McGrath for organising the activities.
