On Wednesday December 5th two teams of third year students went to Waterford Institute of Technology to take part in the South Eastern round of the CIMA schools quiz.
CIMA (The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and BSTAI (The Business Studies Teachers Association of Ireland) co-ordinated the event with sponsorship from SPAR. There was a strong emphasis on questions from the business course but other questions strongly tested the general knowledge of students.
The students really enjoyed themselves even though the questions were extremely challenging. A big thanks to the parents who attended and also Ms. Dooley for facilitating the event.
