Scoil Aireagail is delighted to boast a hurling All-Ireland winning captain in Martin Davis, a third year student. Martin is the captain of the U-14 squad which was victorious in the Sonny Walsh Cup. The team defeated Wexford, Limerick, Tipperary and Limerick on the way to lifting the trophy. Martin is a Ballyhale Shamrocks player and Scoil Aireagail hurler of the year. He looks like having a bright future in the game.
