Congratulations to Scoil Aireagail student, Kieran Reid, who has won a four day trip to Strasbourg on the online civic awareness competition. He will spend one full day at the European Parliament where he will take part in Euroscola, which is a youth parliament and will involve them taking part in discussions on a number of pre selected topics about the EU with students from other member states. He will also be taken to other places of educational interest while on the tour. The prize was kindly sponsored by the Financial Services Ombudsman. Kieran is a Transition Year student and is very much looking forward to the trip. Given his friendly, outgoing personality he is sure to represent the school well on the European stage.
