There was a large turnout for the annual 1st Year Display of Work. The students had been working extremely hard on their respective projects over many weeks and eagerly awaited the opportunity to exhibit the fruits of their labour. Their work featured eye-catching and informative poster projects across all subject areas. Port-folio formats also featured. There were many accomplished exemplars in woodwork and engineering. Art and DCG featured prominently along the corridors while a wonderful collaborative collage from the English classes gave an account of the students’ first year at Scoil Aireagail. A model of a medieval castle also won many admirers. The business students conducted some market research for the visiting public while the music class entertained the visitors. It was a very affirming experience for the students and a thoroughly enjoyable one for the parents.
