The Transition Years students have got off to a very active start this year. Students visited the ‘TY Expo’ event in The Hub in Kilkenny. They went to Tramore where they spent the day at an activity centre. They also went on a canoe/water activity trip to Bagenalstown, and stayed overnight in Borris. Dunmore East was also visited, and the Ploughing Championship in Ratheniska. Students fundraised for Enable Ireland, where they collected €300 for charity. Well done to all our Transition Year students for participating so energetically and positively to all activities so far, and to the teachers involved in accompanying students on the various outings.
