A great sense of achievement filled the Scoil Aireagail Hall as the school community turned out in force to support local hero Breda Irish as she cycled the last kilometre of the “Cycle to Syria Campaign.”
A huge cheer almost lifted the roof as the ever smiling Breda crossed the line to complete the 5324 kilometres from Ballyhale to Damascus.
The Transition Year students were humbled by the support they received from the parents, past and present staff, pupils and wider community.
Thank you Breda for reminding us that by standing together as a Community we have the strength to help others. Ní neart go cur le chéile.
