Our Transition year students took part in the Young Producers Market as part of Savour Kilkenny Food Festival over the October bank holiday. The students spent the weekend baking in preparation for the event and baked goods such as scones, brownies, quiches, tarts, gluten free products and sugar free products. The students had to attend a food safety talk two weeks previously and they really got a taste of what it is like to run a food stall at a market. Well done to all students who participated.
