On Thursday 4 April, Scoil Aireagail played Grennan College in the group stage of the Kilkenny U-17 Post Primary cup. The game was played in Thomastown Gaa pitch under good conditions. The end result was a draw with Scoil Aireagail scoring 21 points to Grennans 3-12. Unfortunately Grennan scored a goal in the final minutes of the match which leveled the score. Cian Cullen, Declan Duggan and Edmond Fitzpatrick all had an excellent match for Scoil Aireagail. Thanks to everyone involved especially Mr Walsh for looking after the team.
