The Scoil Aireagail junior boys soccer team played Duiske College, Graiguenamanagh in the semi-final of the Kilkenny Junior Cup on May 10th in the Friary Pitch, Knocktopher. Scoil Aireagail were strong in the first half of the game leading the match by a 2-0 advantage over the visiting team. Both goals were scored by Shane Aylward. Duiske college came back with two quick goals in the second half of the game along with another goal for Scoil Aireagail in the last few minutes scored by Jason Delaney. Scoil Aireagail were victorious with a 3-2 win. Well done to everyone who participated and thanks to Mr.Dowling for organising the match.
