On Thursday 2nd May the U16 boy’s soccer team played their last match of the group against Kilkenny City Vocational School. The game started off well with both teams playing well. Ballyhale went in as happy 1-0 leaders at half time. Ballyhale scored early again in the second half and moments later it was 2-1. As the game went on Kilkenny City Vocational School managed to break down the strong Ballyhale defence and scored their 2nd to make it 2-2. The game ended 2-2 and the Ballyhale boys finished 2nd in their group and will progress to the semi-final. The two goal scorers were Shane Aylward and Michael Delahunty.
