On Monday 20th May the Scoil Aireagail Junior girls soccer team played Kilkenny City Vocational School in the finals of the Kilkenny Junior Cup in the Watershed. Scoil Aireagail were strong throughout the game leading by a 1-0 score at the end of the first half. KCVS came back with a goal to even the score at the start of the second half. The score was 1-1 so the game went to penalties, where Scoil Aireagail were victorious.
Congratulations to all the girls who participated with thanks to Casey Corcoran , Jessica Catt, and Cian Cullen for managing the girls and to Mr. Walsh for organising matches throughout the year.
