Our 6th year students went on a field trip to Kilfarrasy beach in Waterford to investigate the impact of coastal erosion. This is a compulsory section of the Geography Leaving Cert Course – worth 20% of the overall mark.
The 6th Year students will be busy over the next few weeks writing up their field work booklets. They will need to explain how they planned and gathered their information as well as the results, conclusions and evaluations.
The field study is great fun, and also provides students with a hands on and practical learning experience.
Thanks to Ms. Murphy and Ms. Maher for organising the trip.
