Ms. Dooley’s 2nd year Business class were joined last week on a zoom call with one of our past pupils Marie Murphy. Marie set up her florist shop Fleur de Lis by Marie 4 years ago. She kindly gave up her time to speak to the class about her experience and the many challenges that she faced in getting her business up and running. Marie spoke about the many benefits of being an entrepreneur but also how hard she works and the hours she spends every day running her business. The business class really gained a true insight into a working business and many of them spoke afterwards about how inspiring Marie’s story was and how it has given them more confidence in their future as entrepreneurs. Many of our 2nd year class are allready entrepreneurs who have businesses set up and making sales.
