On Wednesday last we held a special event at break time for retired principal Liam O’Brien. Staff, Student Prefects, members of our Board of Management and Parents Association, gathered together to present Liam with a piece from Newbridge Silverware. Our 6th Year prefect Orestas Balsys gave a warm speech in which he thanked Liam for his commitment to the students and the school community during his time as Principal of Scoil Aireagail. Big thank you to Theresa for providing a fabulous selection of cakes, and to Ms. Mills for organising the event.
