On Thursday 26th of January, our U19 girls badminton team proudly represented our school in division 3 in the Leinster championships in Baldoyle, Co. Dublin. The girls were successful in the group stage against Moate Community College and Loretto Bray. Unfortunately, Ella Brennan got an injury playing in the final group match. However, Beth O’Keeffe stepped in and played very well in her place. The girls got into the final against Sacred Heart and after a hard fought match, the girls came out on top 5 to 1 as Leinster champions. We are extremely proud of the girls for the amazing win today.
