Today, Thursday 2nd of March is World Book Day! Throughout the day we celebrated in English class taking part in a variety of fun tasks and competitions. Writing poems and short stories about the joy of reading, creating posters and bookmarks inspired by our favourite novels to name just a few. In addition to this we encouraged students to dress up as their favourite book characters. The day culminated in the whole school taking part in a ‘Drop Everything And Read’. A fantastic day was had celebrating all that is wonderful about reading.
