On Thursday March 7th our Transition Year students travelled to Kilkenny to undertake an Urban Geography Field trip study. As well as determining, measuring and recording land use in the city they also took part in a walking tour.Our extremely knowledgeable guide informed students about settlement in Kilkenny and in particular the historical buildings and those who once inhabited same.All returned with a far greater awareness and appreciation of our City.
