On the 13th of May, two of our third year Green Schools representatives travelled to Hotel Kilkenny to accept their Green Flag on behalf of Scoil Aireagail. Our students worked continuously throughout the year- to achieve a Green Flag in this years theme Global Citizenship Litter and Waste. Throughout the school year, students evaluated environmental issues within the school, came up with an action plan; surveyed the school community to gather information about attitudes towards Green School issues and educated their peers about sustainability issues. Well done to all involved and thanks to Ms. Phelan on her constant efforts towards our Green Schools.
