Today some of our TY and 5th Year students participated in a workshop run by the Kilkenny Rape Crisis Centre (KAMA) and a Garda Inspector from the Garda Divisional Protective Services Unit. Students learned about the importance of consent and looked at consent in various different scenarios. Students also learned about the role of the Gardaí when a sexual assault is reported and the different steps that occur in the justice system throughout the process. Thank you to the Kilkenny Rape Crisis centre for facilitating such an important workshop.
