On Friday last our Juvenile hurlers topped the year off in style with an emphatic win in the South Leinster C Final in a sunny Nowlan Park, Kilkenny. It was a perfect day for hurling, and our lads took their opportunity to showcase their skills in the home of Kilkenny hurling. In front of a large crowd, we took control right from the off and racked up a big score in the opening half. There were some great individual displays, but it was the team spirit and work rate which was most notable. There was no let up in the second half, and captain Matthew Murphy lifted the cup at the final whistle. There is definitely more to come from this crop of players, watch this space!
