Last week our TYs took part in a two day kayaking trip from Goresbridge to St Mullin’s. This was the Adventure Journey element of their Gaisce Award. Students rose to the challenge and gave it their all. A massive well done to all for completing the task and thanks to @gowiththeflow.ie for having us.

Congratulations to our 12 representatives from Scoil Aireagail who donned the KCETB combined team jersey at the inter-county blitz against Laois and Offaly during the Easter holidays. They developed their skills during the training and squad selection. Well done boys on representing your school and clubs so well.

Today is World Piano Day and to celebrate it, we had wonderful piano music being performed by some of our very talented students during lunch break. World Piano Day takes place on the 88th day of the year, symbolic of the 88 keys on the piano. Thanks to all the students who performed today.

Students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year who had not received any negative note this year were rewarded with a hot chocolate and cookie this morning. Each student also received an Easter egg as a prize for being so diligent and hard-working.   

Today the final of the 2nd year table tennis tournament was held in the gym and was well supported by many students. Oisin Duffin and Ronan Crowley played a highly competitive game with Ronan finally taking the title. Well done boys!!
