On October 18th at 7:30 p.m. Scoil Aireagail will hold an Open night for prospective students. All are welcome to this event which gives parents and students the opportunity to become aware of the wonderful facilities that we have here in Scoil Aireagail. 1st Year Parent/Guardian night
On October 11th Scoil Aireagail will host a meeting for staff and the parents/guardians of first year students. This meeting will give parents/guardians the opportunity to discuss students integration into secondary school life.
National Schools Sports Day
A sports day for 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils in our catchment area national schools will be held in Scoil Aireagail next Friday, 8th October. Leinster Champions!
Congratulations to Danielle Catt and Shauna Kenneally who are the reigning Leinster U14 Badminton champions. The girls endured some difficult games along the way, but they kept their cool and used their undoubted talent to succeed. Well done girls and we are sure you will have further success in your time in Scoil Aireagail.
Leinster & All Ireland Winner!
Congratulations to current sixth year student Dylan Walsh who was the goalkeeper on the Leinster and All Ireland winning Kilkenny Minor Hurling Team this year. Dylan had a very successful year and made a very important contribution to the team’s success. We wish Dylan all the best in his future career on and off the pitch.

1st Year Girls Soccer Blitz
On Thursday, 30th September our 1st year girls traveled to Waterford to take part in a soccer blitz tournament.A very enjoyable day was had by all. Many thanks to Mr. Dowling for organising the outing.
Muinteoir Bainisteoir
Well done to Ms. Fogarty who is currently running a muinteoir bainisteoir Gaelic Football Competition in school. This fun-filled tournament is in aid of a community in Tanzinia, run by Fr. Ploughing Match
5th and 6th Year Agricultural Science students went to the Ploughing Championships which took place in Athy, Co. Kildare last week. This proves a great educational experience for our Agricultural Science students, as it enhances their learning in the classroom. Thanks to Ms. Hickey for organising the outing.
