On Monday March 11th, we witnessed the vibrant spirit of our students at the Kilkenny Carlow Ethos Showcase in Grennan College. The Ethos Committee and attendees alike were immersed in a beautiful tapestry of music, art, and diverse projects that truly embody our Ethos of Excellence in Education, Care, Equality, Community, and Respect. 

In a challenging plate match against The Edmund Rice Secondary School, Carrick-on-Suir, our Boys Basketball Team fought valiantly despite missing half their starters due to injuries. Special mention to the four first-year players who stepped up, showcasing impressive resilience and a never-give-up attitude. They did themselves proud on the court!

Well Done to all the students who performed in our lunchtime concert as part of Wellbeing Week. It is terrific to see the students grow in confidence and self-esteem with each performance experience.

On March 7th, as part of our Amber Flag initiative, we fundraised for Pieta House, a worthy cause. Through our non-uniform day and bake sale, we raised over €300! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the cause. Together, we’re breaking the stigma around mental health.
