To celebrate world book day students put aside their textbooks and were encouraged to read in classes during the day.

Our 5th and 6th year agricultural science students went on a trip to Kildalton college this week to get a better understanding of what courses are on offer there and possible careers that these courses could open them up to.

Well done to Ms. Kinsella’s students for organising a collection for the local branch of St. Vincent de Paul. A huge variety of goods were collected by the students from members of the school community. Representatives from the local branch visited the school to collect the donations. They were very impressed by the students’ efforts.

Congratulations to our 6th yr student Eve Touhy, singer songwriter who was a finalist in the 2014 YADA (young artist development awards).
