All students access mainstream curriculum mixed-ability classes. Our Learning Support and Resource Teachers give additional classes in literacy and numeracy skills to support students requiring such help. These students are withdrawn as required from language classes other than English. These arrangements are made in consultation with parents and local SENO. The transfer of pupils to and from the supported teaching groups is encouraged, according to the needs of individual pupils. During the classes these students avail of support of Special Needs Assistants (SNAs).
