On Tuesday 22nd March the transition year students of Scoil Aireagail, along with principal Mr. Pat O’Hanlon, met with Liam Grant, Chernobyl Aid Ireland, and handed over 60 boxes of humanitarian aid for the Grozova Orphanage in Belarus. This consignment of food and toys is valued at over €6000. We would like to thank the general public who were very supportive of this most valuable cause when we did our supermarket appeal recently. Thanks also to Ms. Roche for organising the appeal, and to all the transition year students who helped to run the various collections. Well done to all concerned.
