Last week Scoil Aireagail faced Bridgetown of Wexford in the South Leinster semi final. The team got off to a great start with Patrick Hearne picking up the first point of the game. This pushed on the Ballyhale team who scored 11 points in the first half and kept the Bridgetown side scoreless at half time. There were great runs from Roy Cullen and Martin Davis the two half forwards.
Bridgetown fought back in the second half but Scoil Aireagail pulled through with a final score of 1-16 to 1-5.
