Congratulations to Thomas Evans, 1st Year, who was a regional winner in the 2016 All Ireland Art Competition. Thomas’ entry was a category winner in the Kilkenny section and will now go on to the regional final. He received a cheque worth €75 and was awarded a Certificate of Achievement at an awards ceremony held at the County Hall. His futuristic piece depicting life in 2116 impressed the judges. If selected at the regional final his piece will be displayed in the National Gallery. Best of luck and well done Thomas!
