Halloween Face Painting

First years enjoyed a Halloween themed face painting workshop during the long lunch break on Wednesday this week. The art room was open for first years to come in and learn some face painting techniques and get some ideas for Halloween. Ms. Bolger showed the students how to create scars very easily by applying a mixture of flour and water to the skin, and painting over this with facepaint. Four first year models were transformed into a skeleton, a zombie, a broken doll and a scary zipper face look. After getting their faces painted, they went out to the corridors to scare a few people. Photos of the transformations can also be viewed on the School’s Art Instagram page. https://www.instagram.com/scoilaireagailart/img_4633img_4632img_4628
