First years had their last cairdeas Mentoring event for this year. In groups students had to first build a parachute for an egg using a balloon paper straws and sellotape. In the 2nd activity students had to build the tallest tower using old newspapers and cello tape. These are both team building exercises and produced some interesting results. Well done to the first years and a big thank you to the Leaving cert students for their involvement with this programme. Thanks also to Ms. Leahy for coordinating this important programme in school.
