On Monday 20th of March our Scoil Aireagail junior soccer team faced off against Duiske College in the Kilkenny Carlow ETB league semi-final. The boys started off strong, getting a free kick, which was taken by Josh Dungan and scored by Michael Dunne. Unfortunately, Duiske countered this with two consecutive goals, but this wasn’t a problem for Scoil Aireagail, with Josh Dungan burying the ball in the back of the net to even the score before the end of the first half. Duiske began the second half stronger and despite their best efforts, the boys were unable to stop Duiske from scoring three goals consecutively.
