On 20th September 3013 the leaving cert students went to the higher options in RDS Dublin. Students found the day very informative. They gained a greater insight into 3rd level courses and the options available to them. They are pictured above with their guidance teacher Ms. Dennehy.

The artistic talents of Scoil Aireagail’s students once again proved too much for the rest of the field at the Iverk Show in Piltown. The school once again scooped the award at the show. Great credit is due to the students and to their art teacher Ms. Roche. Well done all!

Scoil Aireagail is delighted to boast a hurling All-Ireland winning captain in Martin Davis, a third year student. Martin is the captain of the U-14 squad which was victorious in the Sonny Walsh Cup. As part of their CSPE course, the 2nd year class visited Dáil Eireann on Wednesday 1st May. This is an important practical addition to their study of CSPE and proved to be an enjoyable, as well as educational, outing.
