Scoil Aireagail students were more numerically engaged than usual during Maths Week in the school. Daily quizzes challenged all students to solve different mathematical problems and to gain a better appreciation for the relevance Maths in our day to day lives. The students also enjoyed trying out new approaches to learning Maths in the classroom. The week culminated with a talk from Brendan Guildea, one of Ireland’s top maths teachers, on Project Maths. Well done to all in the Maths department and to the students who engaged so actively during the week.
