Our Transition Years A started their gymnasium visits to the Sean Kelly centre. Following an induction program where they were introduced to different equipment and exercise machines they started to plan and implement their own fitness programs that they planned during PE class. Our Transition Year B students started their water safety course this week under the guidance of Yvonne Kelly  Senior Instructor with the Irish Water Safety Association at Sean Kelly Centre Carrick on Suir. Thanks to Mr. Mcgrath for facilitating and organising.    

Our 5th yrs went into Kilkenny to compete at K Bowls annual schools bowling challenge for healthy schools week. Thanks to Mr. McGrath for organizing the trip.

Our Student Council Committee organised a Christmas Jumper day on Tuesday 17th December. They raised €160 which will be spent on sports equipment for the school. The winners of the best jumper on the day was Shauna Sutton and George Culleton.Thanks to Ms. Phelan for organising the fundraiser with the Student Council. 

Many of our class groups went into Kilkenny this week to go ice skating and bowling. These outings play a very important role in promoting well being among our students. The trips as always provided a nice build up to the festive holiday. Well done to all involved in organising and facilitating the trips.
