TY’s get crafty making Christmas wreaths

Thanks to Sarah Aylward for running a Christmas wreath workshop with our Transition year students. They made some fabulous wreaths. Christmas Jumper day in aid of Temple Street

Student Council organised held their annual “Christmas Jumper day”  which raised €210 for temple Street children’s hospital. Well done to staff and students for making such an effort to bring Christmas festive cheer to school today wearing their Christmas jumpers and outfits. Congratulations to all involved and Ms. Phelan for coordinating the Students Council.

Cairdeas Mentoring

First years had their last cairdeas Mentoring event for this year. In groups students had to first build a parachute for an egg using a balloon paper straws and sellotape. John Lonergan visits Scoil Aireagail

The former governer of Mount Joy prison visited Scoil Aireagail recently on the 24th November.   John Lonergan was Governor of Mountjoy Prison until his retirement in 2010.
