The senior Green schools committee members went to Kilkenny to collect the green flag for biodiversity. Well done to all students involved. Pictured is the Senior green schools committee members, Eoin O’Driscoll, Richie Cody and Valeriu Blascu.    

Pictured are members of the students council from Scoil Aireagail who attended Dáil Éireann on Tuesday May 15th.  They had a tour of Leinster house and got to watch leaders questions in the Dail and a debate on biofuels in The Seanad. Thanks to Ms. Phelan for organising the trip.

Scoil Aireagail’s boys basketball team played Grennan College in a series of challenge games on 4th May last. The 2nd Years were playing their first competitive match against an experienced side, and put up a very strong performance. Well done lads, and thanks Mr. Mc Grath for organising the games.

The sixth year debs committee organised a table quiz on 26th April in the hall to raise funds for their debs in August. There was a really positive atmosphere at the quiz as the students in teams answered a good mix of general knowledge questions.  

Students in 2nd and 3rd year have been busy over the last number of weeks completing their classroom based assessments in English, Business and Science. Classroom Based Assessments (CBAs) provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their learning and skills in ways not possible in a pen and paper examination,for example, their verbal communication and investigation skills. This […]
